I was contacted before I arrived with details on how best to find the guesthouse on arrival. I was arriving early but was available for me to self check in then go out to explore. Was given easy directions to find the castle which didn't take long. Amazing communication. I got a taxi up from the bus station which wasn't very expensive . It was very hot so was glad if the taxi. 45 minutes to walk up the hill from bus station.Beautiful views from the communal sitting area, private balcony was great for having a coffee on. Breakfast was at the time I requested and had plenty to eat. I was going back to Tirana and the host kindly packed up some of my breakfast for my journey.

The hotel it's self, it's unique design. The host is very welcoming, Mr.Vullnet and his family are very welcoming and charming, and helpful in every way. The stay was very cosy, and the breakfast was very delicius.

This place exceeded all our expectations. The owners were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. They even helped us get to Gjirokastër after we got stuck off-road with our car. They were flexible, generous, and genuinely caring throughout our stay.
