This was our first time visiting Houlgate and the Cabourg area. The Villa Les Bains is located right downtown and a short walk to the beach. We visited in December, so there was no trouble finding parking across from the hotel. The hotel is cozy and charming, the check in area has a sitting area and a small bar with a winter theme for the season, I would have stayed and read a book there if I'd had the time. The rooms (we had two as a family of four) were comfortable and tastefully decorated. We had breakfast and it was well stocked and delicious with a lot of choice. Everything was wonderful and we hope to return again to visit for a few more days in the off-season. Also, the staff (I don't have his name) was welcoming, professional, and very helpful. The room has everything you'll ever need, and the beds are really comfortable. We got lucky and had the pool and sauna all to ourselves. 15 minute walk to the beach and city centre.
