The staff is wonderful! The front desk people were very helpful and enjoyable to speak to and very knowledgable about the area. The restaurant staff is great as well. Our waiter always made sure we had everything we needed and gave very good service. The hotel is older however very clean and has some modern features mixed in and done very well. Acqui Terme was wonderful with a great old downtown area and we enjoyed visiting the fountain.

Great staff. We needed a late check out and they worked very hard to make it work. Though the rooms themselves were a little dated, I really liked the artwork in the halls on my floor. Breakfast buffet had many options! Also perfect location.

For anyone looking for an authentic Italian experience, this is a fantastic alternative to Tuscany. The world-famous Barolo and Barbaresco wine regions are right at your doorstep, making it a dream destination for wine lovers. The staff made our stay truly special. Everyone was incredibly friendly, caring, attentive, and always willing to help with recommendations or any request. Their hospitality made us feel completely at home. The property itself is beautiful and very well maintained. The convenient parking, relaxing hot tub, cozy picnic area, and delicious breakfast each morning added so much to our experience. One of the highlights was enjoying the balconies with their breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and vineyards — the perfect place to relax with a glass of local wine and watch the sunset. Everything about Il Girasole exceeded our expectations. The combination of outstanding hospitality, spectacular scenery, comfortable accommodations, and an unbeatable location made for an unforgettable stay. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Piedmont region.
