Accessible Hotels in Ibusuki

It’s puzzling that this place has a rating of only around 8. In my view it is a solid 10. We received a warm welcome from the staff. The hotel establishment is spotless and tastefully done. The outdoor onsen is small but exquisite. We had terrific food and still the rate was so reasonable. Apart from a location that is a little far from the center of Ibusuki, there is nothing I would fault. Definitely a place to return to.

This guesthouse is in an excellent location. . . an easy walk to both the ferry terminal and the train and bus station. It's not far from the sand baths, but bikes are available if desired. We stay in the comfortable and cozy tatami room and used the kitchen facilities to cook dinner one night. We felt safe and happy and appreciated the cheerful and friendly host. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable, lending us towels for the sand onsen, and leaving a bag of treats for my daughter. I appreciated the ease and simplicity of this lodging, and it was a good value. The house is functional, safe, and well located.

The interior (lobby area) had a Hawaii atmosphere. The hotel had a large souvenir shop, with snacks and drinks. We had half board included, and had a nice meal in the evening including drinks. The kids got a kids meal plate. We tried the sand-bath at the hotel, nice experience. For us it was included in the price. It was raining, but we still used the outdoors pool. The rooms had comfortable sleeping mattresses (on the floor) instead of hard futons. It was very OK altogether.
