Valkenburg is a wonderful town, and we returned again for Christmas. Once again, we stayed at the Mercure Hotel. It is not in the center, but it’s not far. Interesting design, clean rooms, and nice staff.

Marilou (I think her name is) is the best host you can have. I travel a lot for work, so tell here she is the best I met in ages.

Nearby the city center and main attractions, wonderful swimming pool and an incredibly welcoming staff. Live music in the garden was very pleasant

So was our first time at the spa / hotel and had an amazing time would for sure be back again would recommend this to friends and family

Our host was so lovely! Beautiful home with a great view. Lots of living space on two levels, and good parking.

The room was very attractive and spacious. The bed was the most comfortable one we have had on a 2 week journey through the Netherlands. The breakfast was exceptional--including not only the usual assortment of meat and cheese but also a delicious egg salad, fruit salad with a drizzle of local honey, a tray of sliced radish, cucumber and cherry tomatoes, an omelet, and assorted breads. The hosts are gracious and efficient.

Fantastic breakfast and super comfy and quiet location. We got stuck in the area due to a car issue, and were very happy to find this little oasis of calm to spend a day in.

It was a beautiful, peaceful area. The room was very big and clean! We even got a free upgrade from the owner which was lovely!

Maryan was so nice and the rooms were amazingly clean and cozy. High ceilings and artistic style were huge pluses. Breakfast was great with so much vbariety and super classy set-up. Great location by a picturesque canal.

The location is very beautiful, and old castle in the middle of a big park, providing comfort and intimacy. The restaurant and the bar are nicely designed and it was a real pleasure enjoying dinner in the garden. The breakfast has many options and they serve a very tasteful coffee which after I've learned it is a very old local brand (Blanche Dael)

The rooms were well-appointed, clean, and thoughtfully designed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The staff exhibited a warm and hospitable attitude, always ready to assist with any queries or requests.

Comfortable stay! The room was spacious and clean, and a cooking set with utensils was provided. The hotel toiletries, including the shampoo, smelled great. There were plenty of activities available as well.
