Perfect simple hotel to experience the town of Ollantaytambo. Clean, quaint, quiet, and great view from the patio. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Staff was very kind and helpful. I would stay there again.

It was completely worth spending two nights in Ollantaytambo, rather than rushing through this gem of a town between Cusco and Machu Picchu Pueblo (formerly Aguas Calientes). The hotel is conveniently located halfway between the train station and the center of town, both a short walk away. The rooms overlook a beautiful garden with a backdrop of the spectacular mountain scenery. The hotel is family-operated and all the family members are super friendly. As a nice surprise, the hotel also turned out to be an excellent restaurant, possibly the best in town (we only have two others to compare to).

This place is amazing, the staff the grounds etc. They have 2 alpacas that live on site so that was also really cool. The room we booked was more like a house. Two stories, 2 bedrooms, two bathrooms. It was amazing and we kept comparing everything to Del Pillar which was impossible to do because Del Pillar was the BEST. We especially loved the staff, they were incredible. Our favorite human was Audry, she was not only amazing but so incredible kind, she spent time with us playing games and teaching us language while we were sitting at the bar/restaurants. We really felt like VIP 1000% of the time, she played with our son, made recommendations on the town. Just an incredible human. Honestly Del Pillar was the best stay we had in Peru and the best staff, they even took care of me when I came down with altitude sickness. Just beyond grfeatful for them all.

Location is magnificent. My second time staying in this hotel in Ollaytamtambo. I stayed on the 3rd floor in 2019, three beds. This time alone, I chose the 2nd floor room, with views like no other. You will wake up to both sets of ruins. To the sun down. was an extraordinary room. beds comfortable. service excellent. Hotel location is perfec. Across from a restaurant tha serves Trucha / trout dish that is excellent. This hotel stay was great. Choose 2nd floor or third floor rooms. Worth it. Service perfect, profesional and friendly. only 1 block from the plaza and few blooks from the tran station.
