The site/facilities were great, in a good location. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to assist in anyway they could. The breakfast was delicious and generous. They had juice and a water dispenser on hand in the common areas which were much appreciated. The room was clean and the back patio was lovely for morning g coffee.

His kindness and hospitality truly made our stay special. He was always on hand with helpful recommendations and a genuine smile, making us feel right at home. And let's talk about the breakfast! It was, without a doubt, a highlight every morning. Fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, it offered a wonderful start to each day. You could tell a lot of care went into preparing it, with a great variety of local treats. Casa do Lado itself is charming and comfortable, providing a perfect base for exploring Portugal. We can't recommend it highly enough! You'll leave feeling refreshed and with fond memories, especially of Tomás and those wonderful breakfasts.

Staff was great walking the fisherman trail having a massager on site was amazing

The property was simple but incredibly clean and a great value. The beds were comfortable and the room was wonderful, with a big balcony. The location was perfect, right next to the beaches and close to many restaurants. Staff were kind and helpful.

Fantastic hostel. From the cooling cucumber and lemon welcome drink, lovely smiling receptionist, large rooms, comfortable beds, amazing breakfast (cereals, fruits, toast, ham, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, delicious coffee, yoghurt, jams and honey selection. Hot showers, all very clean, enormous kitchen, lounge areas, table tennis and pinball room, hammocks outside to relax in....absolutely the best value for money. Very very well run hostel.

Big room, new and clean with a private terrace. Nice staff. Beautiful pool to relax after hiking on the Fisherman’s trail.

We arrived on bicycles in the middle of a downpour. Zane brought us in and took great care of us. He took us to town to eat dinner , then returned to pick us up.
