We have found our most favourite resort/hotel/accomodation throughout our travels. We were surprised by the sheer volume of activities (most being free) hosted by the hotel such as muay thai classes, floating yoga, washing buffalos, biking to see elephants and fire dancers. Would recommend staying 5 nights at the very least given the actitivies, a 3km pool streaming alongside the entire resort and multiple restaurants to try out. There is also a private beach for guests. We did visit in town but you can certainly spend your entire time at the resort. We capped off our stay with a Thai buffet dinner watching the sunset, where the hotel team helped to place our table on the beach as requested. Shoutout to Tin who was very friendly and assisted us to have a late check-out. Could not recommend enough.

Our stay at the Marriott Beach Resort & Spa in Khao Lak was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Everything exceeded our expectations and made for a truly unforgettable holiday. The breakfast was exceptional—incredibly varied, high-quality, and beautifully presented, with options for every taste, both Western and Asian. All of the resort’s restaurants are excellent, offering consistently delicious food and a great dining experience. The staff truly deserve special recognition. Everyone was friendly and professional, but Bob and his team at the reception desk stood out for their outstanding service. They were extremely helpful, attentive, and genuinely customer-focused, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, providing everything you would expect from a top-tier Marriott resort. Relaxing by the Quiet Pool was wonderfully peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The beach is breathtakingly beautiful—pristine, expansive, and ideal for enjoying stunning sunsets. The surrounding area also offers some great dining options. There are several excellent local restaurants nearby, with Blue Sky being a definite must-visit. In short, this resort offers the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and relaxation. We would highly recommend it and would love to return in the future!

We spent 7 nights there recently with our family (kids 6 and 4) and we loved it! There resort is stunning (like the pics) and the pools kept our girls entertained for large parts of the day but there was also lots of kids activities that we could book them in for as well. The restaurants were amazing , quality food for a very reasonable price, beach bar with live music in the evenings as the sun is setting. The fire shows were awesome on the beach. A huge breakfast buffet (who doesn't love breakfast buffets!) and much more - we will definitely be back! All of the staff were incredibly accommodating and the facilities were kept very clean. The nice team members who kept our room clean made different characters shaped with towels for the first 3-4 nights which our girls loved :)

Devasom is a beautifully curated mid-size boutique resort with cozy and stylish design throughout. The beds are incredibly spacious and comfortable, the views are stunning, and the whole place has a sense of calm, taste, and refinement. The service was exceptional—every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. They went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible, showering us every morning with fresh juices and fruits, and always making us feel welcomed and cared for. Special thanks to our amazing butler Max and the entire team for their heartfelt hospitality and outstanding service. You made us feel truly at home. They also prepared our meals exactly the way we like them, which was a lovely personal touch. Everything—from the setting to the atmosphere—was done with great attention to detail and true hospitality. Beautiful, tranquil location. Grounds are superb and you hardly see the buildings. Staff are amazing. Food is fantastic. Best breakfast ever! Nice private beach area and so good to just relax here.

The hotel has a perfect location! Right on the beach, and an easy walk to the nearby area of restaurants and shops. Loved the chaise lounges that faced the ocean. The swimming pool was refreshing and even has a swim-up bar. The restaurant where breakfast is served has views of the ocean and lots of choices for food. There’s a pool table and ping pong too! Our room (Deluxe Room with Spa Bath) was gorgeous, and worth the money to upgrade if you can. The jacuzzi bathtub in our room seemed a bit over the top, but it felt magical after a day of walking! Nice view of the ocean, too.
