Very nice staff, restaurant and surrounding. We definitely liked the diner, which was very tasty. When reserving the room, best is to reserve the restaurant directly as it is very popular and can be fully booked.

The location is wonderful. Set in beautiful surroundings where one can take walks in the woods. Nicely furnished rooms, a small but decent swimming pool and professional staff who were always helpful. The breakfast was good and dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent.

That riverside vibe – it’s right near the Meuse River, which means peaceful views and morning coffee with a side of swans. Mix of charm and comfort – traditional stone exterior but modern, cozy interior. Walkable location – you can stroll to the village center and historic spots without needing to start the car. Access to adventures – hiking in the Ardennes, kayaking on the Meuse, and castle-hopping are all close by. Perfect “do nothing” potential – if you don’t want to explore, it looks like an ideal spot to curl up with a book by the fire.

The property is really nice and in a quiet area. There are some neighbors but they were polite to us and did not stay the night. As the previous reviews noted, there are a ton of perks to this property, including the cross on the wall, the jacuzzi, the sauna, and now (I think newly) a massage table! All were functioning perfectly and made for a really excellent romantic weekend getaway. Also the window vent above the jacuzzi has been fixed and works fine now (previous reviews said it didn't). The provided bottle of champagne and chocolates were a lovely gesture as well. The kitchen had enough supplies that we could cook dinner with ease. There were some games under the living room table, though we only browsed these. The projector and speaker work well with netflix and youtube (and maybe some others?), although we plugged in my laptop to watch other things. If this is something you want to do, you need to bring your own (long) HDMI and also maybe your own speaker. We did just a little exploring of the local area, but there is a walk nearby along the Meuse that was really peaceful and meditative with the autumn colors, a great way to wrap up our stay.
