My wife, mother and I got the double bed room. It looked out onto the ocean so we watched a beautiful sunset from the room. The room was recently renovated, very clean, and had little thoughtful touches like earplugs (we didn't need them) and milk and cream for coffee (that was also available in the room). Breakfast was pretty standard, but it was served quickly and promptly at 7:30.

We spent a quick night here and the house was perfect. The location is convenient and the view is outstanding. We had everything we needed for a comfy night. The kitchen was well stocked for us to make dinner. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

Used this as a resting ground after many days driving and exploring Cape Breton. The bed is so comfortable, lovely view of the lake with the geese in it, and the staff super friendly. The coffee was good too!

The location was ideal, close to most amenities. Easy check in and out. Very clean and updated, beds were comfy, added bonus was each room had a Roku tv. Host was very accommodating.

The grounds were beautiful, and adjacent to a beautiful river. The staff was amazing! So friendly!
