The property is sourrended from a beautiful tropical garden and dominates the valley. Our room was simple and large, high white ceiling , few beautiful wooden pices and a Colombia hammock add a touch of color.Through a wooden door you access an incredible open air bathroom floating over the jungle.The courtesy and warmth of the young couple hosting us made our stay even more special .Highly recommended

This is a rustic and quirky place to stay very much part of nature. It has beautiful views and fantastic gardens. Lots of birds and other creatures.
Owner kindly gave out lots of information and had bird books available.
Remember to bring your own shower gel and conditioner.
Meals a little inconsistent.

I had an amazing stay at Hacienda Venecia. Blanca and her family were very kind to me and made me enjoy this place. The coffee tour was also a great experience and I hope to come back again soon to spend more time in this beautiful countryside.

We stayed 3 nights in one of the little bungalows with an amazing view, even from the shower. We really loved our stay. The location is great, in the middle of nature, but if you want to go to Manizales you can take a bus not far away and go. I also recommend having dinner in the lodge as the food was delicious. The veggie Lasagne was one of the best I ever had! We will definitely come back, when we get a chance.
