The apartment was spotless and ideally located, with easy access to the ferry, bakeries, grocery stores, restaurants, and nearby hiking trails (such as to the Schrammsteine). The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated having a coffee machine and tea available.

Albergo-Toscana was the perfect point of departure as a one-location hotel for walking the Malerweg trail. Breakfast has everything you could dream of, and almost all of it homemade. The hotel is close to the city center, but staying there is calm and relaxing. All of Albergo-Toscana radiates charm, quality and an excellent cleaning standard. And not to be forgotten! The beds are just perfect.

Robin is a fantastic host. We loved both atmosphere in the house and breakfast. Hickers’ paradise! If we will ever come back to Saxonian Switzerland, we will definitely stay in Bergfriede.

Thank you so much for this magical stay! Everything was perfect. The Pension is located so conveniently close to all the hiking destinations, also close to the bus station/train station and the river. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, they selected a room for me very thoughtfully and were helpful throughout my check-in process. I had a great peaceful time. Breakfast was very good too. Whenever I will want to come back to the area, I will stay with them!

The place is a perfect starting point for visiting the exceptional places in Saxon Switzerland. The city of Bad Schandau is small and charming. Also, we liked the Toscana Spa Center. There are enough activities to stay for a week or more.
The apartment itself is large enough, comfortable, and well decorated.

This apartment was a wonderful base for our all too brief 3 night stay. The apartment is large, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Plus it had a balcony! The location on a quiet street overlooking the park but just steps away from the centre of town and the Kirnitzschtalbahn is hard to beat. Communications with the host were friendly and helpful.

A good no-frills stay in the wonderful region of the elb-sandstein-gebirge. The fewo was clean, well equipped, and I slept like a princess. The windows could stay open at night, which allowed to cool down. At 1h hiking, you arrive in Rathen, while Bad Schandau is just 15 minutes by car.

We had a perfect stay 👍 Very nice landlords. An extremely big flat to an affordable price which contained everything you could need for a stay except for food, clothes and your family 😜 we can highly recommend Villa Arizona.
We did not use the cellar area so we have no opinion of that.
