Clean, comfortable, and great staff

I had a long stay at this Hotel and booked a whole apartment to myself for 30 nights as the hotel is positioned perfectly in the center of Berchtesgaden and is in a perfect place to go exploring and catch public transport to see many wonderful places nearby. The staff are wonderful (friendly and helpful). Buffet breakfast is also great! I want to give Peter (who I believe helps maintain many aspects of the hotel and its buildings) a special mention - Peter is a true gentleman and very kind. I have bad knees and he could see I was struggling with a heavy suitcase when I arrived and carried up the stairs to the apartment for me, he regularly checked in with me to see if I was doing ok and whether I needed anything. A big thank you to Peter!!

Breakfast is included and it's absolutely delicious! The staff is incredibly friendly and treat you like family. Although we didn't utilize this service, they provide you with bus passes to get around town in - which is a nice perk! They have a handful of different types of saunas which were super relaxing to go around and rotate in. The pool is clean and great to cool off in after the saunas.

Great breakfast and gorgeous views!

The most incredible view from the patio!!!!! Staff was very attentive and friendly. Breakfast on the patio each morning was lovely and the dinners were very good as well. All in all a very pleasant stay and good value. Would certainly chose them again.

Breakfast was wonderful. The staff, (especially the man serving us breakfast) was very friendly and our family had a great time. My granddaughter enjoyed the pool! We also enjoyed the bowling alley located at the hotel. The views from our window were spectacular! The location is perfect for a drive to Eagles Nest. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Everything was as good as what you would expect from a Bavarian quality hotel. Traditional German, meaning excellent, breakfast with lots of fruits. This is important in a hiking trip. 8-year old especially liked the indoor pool.

The balcony room has excellent view! Good choice for 2 days stay. The hotel give us guest cards which covered the whole trip in the town.

Birgit was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful and a great way to start our day. We definitely recommend this guest house as a great place to stay when exploring Berchtesgaden!

We enjoyed staying at this apartment. It's surrounded by nature, has everything we needed. The rooms were super clean, comfortable and cosy. The staff was always helpful and kind. We also liked the swimming pool and it's area. We recommend this place to everyone!

We stayed at the house of this amazing person, she was very inviting and was always there if we needed something. Very kind, interested in what we were gonna to this day and had breakfast ready every morning. We shared some of the video's of our hikes and she was very impresed with the footage. I liked that she was so open and was ready to help whenever! For me this was a great place to be and there is a nice therme at a few minutes walking, so if you have hiked you can relax that day or the next in one of the pools!

It was beautiful, located in the most amazing part of town. The view, there is a coffee shop in the building. The property was clean and spacious, had everything you needed.

Locations was perfect. The view from the windows was awesome. The full apartment was very comfortable for a family. Could easily stay here for a few months. Found parking 4 minutes away for $8 a day.
