The location was great. High rise apartment with a seaside view. Cant beat it. The door people were great, the apartment itself was great, but what was legendary was Hatem. I have been to close to 50 countries, lived in 5 and been to hundreds if cities and places to stay. I am currently trying to think of a host that has been as legendary as Hatem. And right now, i cant think of one. Hatem was on point with being on time. He checked in on us and made us feel welcome. He took us to a fish market where we got squid, fish, shrimp, rice for a small fee and it was excellent. I made the smart move to not have lunch with the tour i did that day where i would have paid 15 usd for a salad, fish and rice. I paid like 8 bucks with Hatem. Hatem bought us drinks, breakfast, and took us to a cafe for shisha. He gave insider information about locations, and recommended the fish market, taking our food and eating at the beach. Brilliant idea! And he paid for the beach entrance, but what might have been better than all of that was his time. He hung out with us a few hours. He joined us for shisha, he waited with us while our seafood was being made.
