Accommodations in Chantada

Beautiful Hotel/Albergue surrounded by amazing vistas of the countryside. It’s located just off the Camino route but not more than 150 meters. Manuel, just the owner is super friendly, accommodating and attends to his guests needs. My albergue bed was upgraded to a large individual room. Very good beds, bedding, pillows, tv, new modern bathroom. Buffet breakfast 7€ at 8am and lots of good advice regarding the Camino route ahead. The hotel has an outdoor pool for summer. The hotel’s website photos are totally accurate. Meals are available in the restaurant.

A classy old Spanish country building converted into a great lodging experience. Fields stretching all around, the interior a step back into time yet modern and clean and comfy. Places like this make our trip, period.

Remodeled adega/farm with tremendous views of Minha river valley and vineyards. Owner/operator Lucia made us feel like we were guest in her home. Her restaurant was true home cooking supplemented by the house made wines. Highest rating!

The apartment is small but is very well organized and has plenty of space for two people. The windows are large and there is lots of natural light. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is clean and modern and the hot water is plentiful. A great option in Chantada, close to everything and there is a lovely Vinoteca right around the corner!
