Accommodations in Escalona

The staff, rooms and meals were amazing!!! This is one of the best most charming places we have ever stayed.

Great location and great service

The family who own and run the hotel are wonderful hosts. They respond immediately to any request. Even though it was the low season, all of their facilities were available.

Really comfortable and spacious room with a nice balcony for reading and looking at the mountains in the afternoon. The air conditioning worked perfectly. There was also a small, local swimming spot at the lake behind the hotel, which was great to cool off on the hot summer days. The staff were very friendly. For hiking - we drove to two areas (about 30-40mins away) on the two days we stayed, as these hikes were more picturesque than the ones leaving from Escalona. The hotel was also able to provide a packed lunch for a fee. The information centre in town (<10 min walk from accommodation) were really helpful in providing maps, routes and information for hiking.

It is a quiet and pleasant place. The bathroom is surprisingly spacious; new and clean. All in all a very pleasant stay. We had a wonderful day walking in the mountains and visited a couple of nearby villages.

Great location in a tiny village and super nice host. There is a comfortable family/game room and an outdoor terrace where you can relax. The facility looks very new and although has only 3 floors, there was an elevator.

This is a small family owned apartment building with only 4 rooms in the building. The owners were so kind and helpful. We had a small problem that they responded and fixed immediately, then gave us some homemade sausage from their butcher shop too. Would highly recommend staying here and will absolutely be back if I’m in the area!
