Accommodations in Le Puy-en-Velay

Large, clean room, comfortable bed. Large modern bathroom. Staff helpful about messaging related to arrival.

All the staff were really friendly and to as helpful as possible. The food was great for Dinner and breakfast just what we needed after a five hour drive.

It was a convenient one night stop for us at a decent price. The rooms are small and rather spartan, but that is to be expected with an Ibis. We appreciated the good breakfast in the morning. And also having a free parking lot behind the hotel.

Wow. Gilles establishment is a true 10/10. Incredible location, wonderful and super historic home. Gilles is a great and very friendly host. This is probably the best place to stay in the entire town, stuck next to the cathedral, incredible views and a super rooftop to enjoy champagne with the best view around. What a special place… words do not suffice.

The location, relative to the starting point of the Camino trail, was PERFECT! The breakfast each morning was nice and quite adequate. The staff members could not have been more helpful.

The location was super convenient to the Cathedral where we began the Camino Primitivo. Also, the breakfast was deliicious, a real treat!

Location, easy checkin, large room and bathroom w claw foot tub/shower, very good mattress and pillows. Owner permitted me to leave my backpack all day after checkout so I did t have to carry it all day.

Everything was wonderful. The host was very kind and helpful. Great location if you are starting to walk the Camino as the cathedral is literally next door. If you like cooking in, the kitchen is very well equipped. A.most excellent apartment.

The apartment was beautiful, very historical old building, but very comfortable and spacious. Since we were only there for a short stay we only prepared coffee, but the kitchen was very well equipped. Although it was a little challenging to locate and navigate within the old town's steep, narrow cobblestone streets, once we got there we loved the location. The directions were good, and access to the building easy.
