Accommodations in Sangatte

Arrived via motorcycle with plans to travel to the UK via the Eurotunnel. The hotel sits back, secluded from the road at least 100m and the parking area felt pretty secure. We had an issue with our first room and the front desk immediately switched us without hesitation. Great attitude and friendliness. Dinner in the restaurant was great and breakfast was as well. Less than a 5-minute drive to the Eurotunnel!

Perfect location for wonderful. Stay in Calais. It couldn’t have been better.

The room was very strictly French in character, no TV or radio which was great! Plenty of sockets and a very good coffee machine, although the room was a little warm on our first night, a Dyson cooler was present in the room along with a mini fridge with a selection of water/juices etc. The bed was big and comfortable. There was also electric shutters on the windows. The breakfast was lovely either English or continental options. We had the entire floor to ourselves along with a separate loo and a big bathroom with a huge walk-in rain shower. We made 8 new furry feline friends too, especially Freya and Ullyses. Our hosts were brilliant and always made time for our many questions with regards to everything from where to find local attractions to explaining local driving laws. Ample free on street parking. Certainly the most accommodating hosts I've ever met and we will no doubt visit them again as NOTHING was too much trouble. Marie-louise and hubby( sorry I forgot your name) thank you! We will be back, it was like staying with friends rather than hosts. This is how a guesthouse should be done!

Very friendly staff. Everything was spotlessly clean. I booked the room in April and requested a ground floor room, Dog friendly and a cot for our one year old . We were arriving late after a 300 mile drive. Everything was provided as requested.

The calm easy going and silent atmosphere

Felt like home, warm inviting and the owners were fantastic . Rooms were very updated and comfortable. The beach view from room was spectacular.. The owner had a fantastic breakfast each morning . The atmosphere was so friendly and lively conversation with other guests - absolutely fantastic.

Our stay at flobart was comfortable and easy. Alain was very helpful and personable. We got along well. When we find ourselves in Sangatte or Calais we will stay here again if it is available. Merci!!! This will forever in our memories be our little apartment on the beach in france.

Location is great. It’s a lovely apartment and everything looks fresh.

The check-in was very clear and easy, Alain was easy to reach if necessary. I wanted a little solo getaway, so the privacy was perfect. Everything was clean and perfectly kept. The location was also wonderful - but note that in winter there are very few buses!

Access to beach to watch the sunset was excellent. Easy drive to the port. Quiet area.

Informative and lovely host, great quiet location ( beach nearby & local shop).The home had everything we needed.

Honestly, everything. The location was one of a kind: feet in the dunes, the sea in the distance. The house is sweet and well appointed. And Sebastien was kind, accommodating, and super helpful!

Everything was perfect from the welcome we received upon arrival to our breakfast at time of departure.
