ItalyExtremely clean and quiet, with all what you may need. We sincerely appreciated the warm welcome from the owner. It's far from the city center, but well connected with lines 1 and 5 both to the Railway Station and the city centre. The bus stop is really close to the house; just look at the map, because the path is not clearly visible from the main road.

We were pleasantly surprised at the warmth of our arrival, the lovely rooms we had and all their facilities, the uniqueness of being next to the railway line, which we found rather exciting and novel, not to mention the really good food at diner and breakfast. We loved it and would surely stay again if and when we find ourselves in that area. Should also like to mention how attentive and friendly the staff were. Best ever. Well done.

If you need to travel by train and or you don't mind train noise, this is a great spot to stay before catching an early train or close to Culham. The room was of ample size, the bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. I had a nice dinner and breakfast which meant I was set for the day.

The location and free car parking, coupled with the very convenient rail access for Oxford and Didcot makes the Railway Inn at Culham an excellent place to stay. The satisfying breakfasts and evening meals, served by helpful and friendly staff added to the satisfaction and value of our stay in June 2024. We had a quiet comfortable room on the ground floor. The rail line is busy day and night but we did not find it intrusive and always slept well.

Great place to stay for Abingdon. Have been several times. Rooms are slightly dated but everything works well and the food is great. Pub food, good beer and a cooked breakfast - what more do you want?

This stay was exceptional value for money and 5 minutes away from my appointment the following day. The staff were friendly and welcoming with one lady pretty much looking after everything.
My evening meal was very enjoyable as was breakfast the following morning. My room was a good size, clean and comfortable with plenty of electricity sockets and good WiFi reception.
I loved all the railway memorabilia in the main reception, bar and restaurant area and the place had a real family feel to it.

Convenient for Culham Campus and Train, less so for Abingdon without a car. Good breakfast, lots of tailored choice. Basic pub b and b accommodation. Clean and warm

A really nice location next to a quaint village Railway Station. The hospitatlity from Pauline was excellent and mades us feel very welcome, excellent evening meal and breakfast the following morning.
Outside of the village of Culham, so you'll need some form of transport but the setting was nice, a local pub and restaurant with accommodation, highly recommended if you want a quiet and friendly stay over.
