United KingdomThe accommodation is located in a separate building from the main golf club and whilst during our stay it was Captains Day their was no noise are disturbance from the late night celebrations taking place in the adjacent golf club. Whilst also located adjacent to the main road again there was no disturbance from the passing traffic.
The property is easily accessible with adequate free parking and located within easy reach of local amenities and tourist attractions in the area.
Whilst an excellent breakfast is included and served in the adjacent golf club restaurant a fully fitted kitchen is available in the property to allow self catering if required. Basic food (bread, cerelas, etc) are also provided.
The restaurant in the adjacent golf club serves excellent food and is the most highly rated in the area amongst the local community and extremely good value.
The accommodation is excellent. Rooms are spacious, confortable beds, and spotlessly clean.
The staff are extremely professional, friendly and nothing is too much to ask.
All in all excellent value for money and highly recommended. I for one will definately be heading back!

Heather was a wonderful host. Truly lovely. Was so kind and attentive. Cottage was just dreamy. Immaculately clean and absolutely beautiful, so so cozy. Stayed with my daughter for a couple of days and enjoyed playing out in the garden and taking a walk down the farm lane. There was complimentary wheaten bread which was incredible and bed was so comfortable. Overall it was the most perfect stay. Just what we needed!

Functionality. It was simply a place to sleep for the night. Very noisy at the front as it’s on a main road but very quiet from the number of guests staying. Can only think that they make their money from weddings as there’s a big function room at the rear.

I loved everything about my stay at Elm Tree Cottage. The place was spotless and beautifully decorated, it was fully equipped with everything I needed,the host was very welcoming and the surroundings were idyllic. We were made to feel very welcome and being a female solo traveller, I felt very secure. Heather, Ronnie and Maddie made Queenie and I feel right at home as soon as I stepped out of my car, nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be returning as I miss the peace and quiet already.

We had an exceptionally good overnight stay in this recently refurbished Valley Hotel. The check in staff were very helpful, the room was spotlessly clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom (bath and shower) was spotless, all the room's many facilities were perfect including the in-room air conditioner unit. In the morning the breakfast was exceedingly generous, and served by a very pleasant staff member. This was exceptionally good value for money. Thank you.

Staff are a credit to the hotel, very friendly and could not be more helpful, the room was very clean, toilet facilities and shower were excellent and I had a very comfortable stay.

If you want to get your own meals the property has a fully equipped kitchen (It actually consists of a a large complete house with lounge, dining room, kitchen with "n" bedroom nearby to the Golf Club buildings/bar). We stayed for 2 nights (Fri/Sat) and it seems that there is no one in attendance then - on the first night we had the entire house to ourselves.

The staff were friendly and helpful their service excellent. The food was very good. The accommodation excellent great mattress and blackout curtains aided a restful sleep.The breakfast choice was great and served promptly.Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.many thanks to those who made it a pleasurable stay.

Beautiful location and accommodation. I travelled with my 2 dogs and they loved it as did I. The accommodation was clean, spacious and had everything that I needed for my stay. The grounds are gorgeous and the estate has a nature trail that I could walk my dogs on. The estate is set in beautiful grounds with a lake, woods, plenty of wildlife, a nature trail, a mountain biking trail.....I wish I could have stayed longer! I will definitely return
