Friendly staff, excellent breakfast

All good, excellent service and great location

We loved everything, we are from the states so it was the experience we were looking for. Only downside was our booking said breakfast included but we were told when we got there it wasn’t. Not a big deal because we wanted to sleep in and not be pushed to get up for breakfast

it was our first time at crowne plaza hotel my daughter and husband enjoyed it the pool sauna jacuzzi was amazing, our room were changed for a bigger one we loved it, breakfast was amazing we were served my dhurvi she made my daughter pancakes which she loved and showed us around breakfast and made us feel comfortable so happy hard working kind caring lady. we were meant to check out 11 am but we got extra time to check out which was amazing with no charges we loved our stay and hotel, i hope you do serve ice tea soon. hope to visit soon

We loved our stay! We were staying over for a wedding and we're so appreciative to be able to drop our bags off in the room early. We loved the decor and the coffee and biscuits in the room, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was 10/10. We will definitely be back to stay again, and would definitely recommend staying at the ivy house to anyone!

Location is excellent! The apartment had everything we needed in the kitchen, extra bath towels in the cupboard, parking behind the apartment, everything perfect! Thanks 😊

Comfy bed. Nice bathroom but not on-suite

Absolutely perfect for our requirements , easily accessed location & great facilities. We knew we would be arriving late, after an Oasis gig, and access was really easy without having to inconvenience anyone. Really comfy bed with a great night’s sleep!

Great location and cosy flat. Would stay there again

We had dinner on Sunday night, it was delicious and they had an excellent wine selection. Max was wonderful. He checked us in and was our waiter that night.

Staff was great, breakfast was wonderful, room was very clean, they had tea, instant coffee, microwave, and milk, OJ, and water in refrigerator. I really enjoyed the one night I stayed, will use again.

This is an excellent hotel in a 200 year old property which I understand opened in October 2023, with 8 bedrooms. It is accessed along a small ,narrow country lane and the caretakers had sent us a message two days before check in with a mobile phone number to call, this automatically opens the gates . The hotel and its setting were a surprise for us as it is in a completely rural setting with lovely gardens. The hotel supplies continental breakfast but has no restaurant yet, I understand that one is planned , together with a liquor license . There is a communal kitchen guests can use to cook supper and use the breakfast room to eat , we brought food and it worked perfectly . The breakfast room also has tables outside in the garden and a BBQ and hot tub nearby . There are 2 cosy lounges with comfortable armchairs looking onto the garden and one has a TV. The caretakers, Chelsea and Daren met us on arrival and took us to our room , they live on the premises and are both very helpful . Our room had a beautiful garden view , a desk and chair ,TV, and a very comfortable bed , the en suite shower is very large and efficient . Wifi throughout the property was fast and all the traditional windows have double glazing so property ,although old, is warm . The gardens are quite large and worth exploring , there are horses and ponies on site . We had a very enjoyable one night stay on our way to the airport , we will stay again.
