Lovely hotel in a peaceful little village, great restaurant and staff.

This hotel was in a historic beautiful building overlooking a river and a quaint English town. The staff were friendly and helpful at every interaction. The room was quiet and comfortable and the breakfast couldn't have been better. We highly recommend this hotel. It's one of our favorites on a 3 month trip. Be sure to read the history of the building...it's sooo interesting!

This is a quant bed/breakfast/tavern. We had a great dinner and drinks when we arrived and breakfast the next morning was cooked to order and excellent. The room was charming. You have the climb the stairs to get around this historic building, but the rooms were nice. The location is right in the middle of this historic town of Hexham. It was a great spot to stay when touring Hadrian's wall.

It was my daughters 8th birthday and the hotel staff decorated the room with balloons and banners above and beyond

They do a good cooked breakfast as well as cereals and toast and the location was close to town and there was some car parking near by as well

Location is close to the bus stop. Staff are super friendly and helpful. My foot was injured during my travel. When I checked in, Trish helped me with my luggage and brought ice to my room for pain relief. Daniela always has the warm smi.le on her face no matter when I saw her.. She even brought the diner to my room. Breakfast is excellent with many choices. I love to have dinner here as well. The burgers are delicious. The chips are so soft inside with a thin but super crispy crust.. I can't stop eating.... The room is very clean.

Location great and will be quieter when road works have finished, room was superb especially the extra little things like bathroom beauty items, much appreciated after a long drive

The proprietors were incredibly accommodating! From picking us up from Chollerford to packing a lunch for us. We had a delicious meal. The Inn is charming as well. We rate them an 11 out of 10!

Breakfast left in the room was ok but not sufficient for a bigger appetite . The location was quiet and it was close enough to walk into Hexham which was good and a lovely walk .

The staff were really helpful. Young lad at the bar gave us advice on where to park for free which was actually really easy. Comfortable bed all facilities working and nice and clean. Particularly impressed with the pub downstairs. Great atmosphere and really friendly. - well worth a visit!

The host was fabulous, a great communicator from the get go and stayed in contact throughout the 2 week stay. We LOVED the location!!!! Hexham is perfectly situated to explore Hadrian’s Wall and nearby market towns. We did not have a car and went everywhere by bus or train. We made our meals at home but enjoyed coffee at the local independent cafés, especially the Green Garden. We popped in the Abbey several times, there are many details you could overlook otherwise.

Beautifully clean and freshly decorated with everything needed for our Hexham holiday in situ. This is a high quality apartment in a perfect central location just a few steps away from shops restaurants and bars. Terrific communication from our hostess, too. Probably the best apartment in Hexham and highly recommended

The flat was in a great location on a quiet street near Hexham Abbey. The train station was less than ten minutes walk. The flat was great, The kitchen was well-equipped. The living room had interesting books about the area, comfy seating, games and puzzles. Foosball upstairs in the game room, and three comfortable bedrooms.

Lovely hotel, comfortable room, very clean bathroom. Very good meal with excellent service, particularly for a busy Friday night close to Christmas.

Beautiful, comfortable apartment! Tea, milk and biscuits was nice to have. Bed was comfy. Garden view was lovely.

It is very comfortable with all the accessories you need for your stay. The location is exceptional! You can walk to everything in Hexham. The train and bus stations are a short walk. On my next visit, to the north east, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

We took our own breakfast food. Kitchen very well stocked. Lovely cooker, very clean. Plenty of crockery, pans etc.
