The Black Horse is our got to place to stay, when my wife and I travel from Chester, to visit her parents, who live in Bearsted and her sister, who lives in Ashford.
The host John looks after everyone.
We have stayed at The Black Horse Inn a number of times.
There are 3 new EV chargers, which is great if, like me, you have an battery electric vehicle.
The food is fantastic.
Great stay, clean accomodation. We will be back, nect time we are visiting family.

This was my 2nd stay at the Black Horse Inn. I was so impressed on my first visit when I found out I was working in the area again it was my first choice. Excellent accommodation and facilities. Dinner at the inn was first class. Outstanding food and such an attentive waiting team. I look forward to visiting again.

Staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive.
Checkin and checkout was easy. Waiting area was nice made nicer by the beautiful fresh flowers and the breakfast was ok too.
Weird that on a sunny 20oC hot bank holiday weekend that they insisted on having the gas fire on throughout our stay which was situated in the lobby.

Restaurant - The Black Horse Inn is in a glorious position on the Pilgrim's Way. There are several well laid out areas outside at the back of the Pub Restaurant to accommodate eating and drinking for quite a large number of people.
Accommodation - The bedrooms with ensuites are contemporary and clean so you can get in and relax immediately. Parking for the staying visitors is separate and close to the accommodation. Atmosphere is friendly (to people and dogs!) and relaxed.

I liked the set up of the rooms it would be lovely for a family holiday. I unfortunately was just stopping over for a night on a work trip. The Restaurant with the accommodation was lovely and the food was delicious.

Excellent accommodation, stayed here for 3 nights while working in the area, great complex with ample parking. Rooms are a little dated and could do with an update but for the rate it’s excellent, shower was good.
As for the pub and the food, wow, great traditional proper pub and the food was fantastic! Defo recommend.

We have stayed at the Black Horse on many occasions. It is a lovely countryside pub with really comfortable accommodation. The restaurant is excellent and the the staff are so nice, they really make the visit just so much better. We have already booked our next stay later this month
