Thea was a perfect place to stay in Valtessinikou while hiking the Menalon Trail. The rooms were spotless and clean, and the location above the town had an incredible sunset view from our perfect little patio in the evening. Theodora was also wonderful and so helpful. When we decided to leave early in the morning to catch a bus, she went above and beyond to pack us a breakfast and drop it off the evening prior. A delightful stay that you won't regret!

It is an awesome location with a view of the mountains, fresh and fulfilling air, and supportive hosts. You can order everything needed for the breakfast, which will be served fresh and hot. You definitely should try mountain tea with a cake. We also went hiking nearby and were impressed by the absolutely stunning views. There was no one on the trail, but birds (we even met bee-eaters), which is a separate enjoyment.

Lovely little apartment. Everything we needed for a single night stay. Aphrodite kindly gave us a breakfast tray as we were leaving early the next morning. And put us in touch with bag transport.

After hiking all the way from Nymphasia we learned that our accommodation was at the very top of Valtessiníko and required us to walk up another 60 metres. No matter; the sunset view was well worth it, and so was Thea Valtessinikou! The rooms are lovely and warm, the view breathtaking and the breakfast was delicious. Thea was very friendly and professional.

They have done excellent work that gives you 100% the feeling of a Scandinavian luxury stay. The hotel is in the middle of a forest and offers relaxation for winter holidays. Service and food are fair.

The room was smallish but cosy. Bed was a good size and comfortable. Beautiful views looking down on the village. The breakfast was first class. Everything you could want including a variety of home made pies, eggs any way you want and even a slice of a huge home made (beautiful) apple cake to take with you on the road if you want. The couple who run the hotel are extremely friendly and willing to help in every way to make your stay comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
