The location is stunning and I wish I had more time to spend there!
Walter is so kind and he was very helpful with any questions we had.
It was great for us to be able to use the kitchen for preparing our meals and Walter was very accommodating to help us with groceries on the way from the ferry.
The view is stunning, the rafting was SO fun, hiking in the national park was magical!

The NICEST hosts I've come across in months and months of travelling. Sarah and Jorge are so effortlessly kind and welcoming, and instantly make you feel at home. With fluent English and Spanish between them, they're the perfect hosts to get recommendations from about all thing La Ceiba and beyond!
The accommodation itself is so clean, beds are comfortable, AC is amazing, great shower, well stocked kitchen for cooking, very relaxing open air space with a clean pool to relax in
You'd be absolutely crazy to not stay here!

The home also matched its provided profile and consisted of required amenities that made the trip so much more easy. The beach was pleasing and not far from the location, the walk was scenic and pleasurable. The customer support was amazing for when I had an issue, the host would reply the day within my concern occured. This home is not one to miss when visiting Honduras!!

United StatesCasa Cangrejal was beautiful and so peaceful. We stayed so comfortable in the bungalow. The plants and birds were beautiful! Karen was an excellent host! I got an awesome massage that was 10/10. Transportation to and from was on time and easy.

Great place to stay for one night before the ferry to utila. Got upgraded to a private room with an ensuite for free which was lovely of the staff (with aircon in the room!). Free coffee in the dining room was great and not too far to walk to supermarkets + Walmart. Large rooftop area was good too.

Kathy was amazing. She was very accommodating and helpful. A true down to earth amazing lady! Would recommend staying here. We stayed in a private room and loved it. The family dinners are also delicious and the entire place is on the river with a great view. Definitely book canyoning/ white water rafting.

Amazing place to stay right in the jungle. The property and pool were beautiful and surrounded by wildlife. Walter was a fantastic host with great communication and even let us borrow his binoculars so we could see the Toucans. The hotel has access to the river where you can go rafting, plus there is a lovely walking trail starting inside the hotel grounds. One of the best places we’ve stayed.

Check in was easy. Like most people we stayed here the night before the ferry to Utilia so for that purpose, it had everything we needed. The aircon was also really good!

Walter was amazing and helped us whenever we needed it. He picked us up from La Ceiba for 400L, booked rafting, answered our questions and was very kind and friendly.
Pepe was a great host and welcoming us into his hotel.
The location is beautiful, stunning mountain views, lovely pool, kitchen to use, beer to buy, comfy beds, good wifi, warm showers, amazing rafting tour. Stay for as long as possible!
