First of all, it is a camp. One can choose lodges (as a bit higher level of comfort), however, my family decided for tents and sleeping in the open air. We got what we wanted, and we liked it a lot. Friendly staff, clean shared bathroom, bar with all sorts of seatings and beds, discrete music in behind, drinks and snacks available from dawn till late in the evening. Fantastic location with a view over the Dead Sea (the better place would have been only on the shore, but since several years, this no longer possible). Not to forget a lousy equipment for table tennis in the corner of the bar, which is absolutely adorable and simply adds up to the charm of the camp.

Set in the entrance of Ein Gedi's National Park, HI - Ein Gedi Hostel offers modern rooms and dormitories. It is located 0.6 mi north of Ein Gedi Kibbutz. WiFi is free throughout.

Loved the view from our balcony. The room was clean and the staff was extremely helpful. They packed a great breakfast for us to take on the road.

We loved the place. Exceptionally clean and well equipped, including a coffee machine and coffee pods, chocolates, cookies and even popcorn.
