We were so so lucky to have found this place! We were looking for somewhere to stay near Dream World Waterpark as our 5y old daughter wanted to spend her birthday in the waterpark. I found this place on booking.com, but did not expect much, however when we arrived I was amazed straightaway - I did not expect such friendlyness, beauty and comfort. We were welcomed by Baby Rani and her husband whose homestay it is, and straightaway brought a fresh juice made from Papayas growing on their farm :). Their hospitality exceeded itself in every aspect! Baby Rani was cooking the most delicious meals for us throughout the whole stay, and everything they use is growing on their land. Baby Rani knows so much about the plants and they made a tour for us on their farm, telling us so much about the different plants, fruits and vegetables they are growing. I loved it! The house itself is just exceptionally beautiful and comfortable. There's a whole top floor for the visitors which has it's own kitchen, lounge and terrace. It really has everything you would need and more. It has really been thought through for people to be comfortable. Not only comfortable but beautifully designed and cosy. The room was perfect...I couldn't have asked for anything more. The shower and bathroom also amazing. And quite importantly - everything was super clean and you can feel it has been done with love. Ohh, as a bonus it has a hammock in the front which was our daughter's favourite :) I am telling everybody about this place back home and would recommend it without any doubt. It will be one of your best experiences in India :)

Beautifully newly renovated and maintained 150 year old Keralan property . The staff were very helpful and attentive, particularly the manager . They had an excellent cook and the food was some of the best we had had during 2 months travelling throughout India . It is secluded about half an hour drive from the Thrissur railway station , adjacent to a small river with a rich variety of birds including peacocks. There is a very refreshing newly constructed pool . An excellent stopover whilst journeying through Kerala .
