United StatesPalazzo del Sanatore is a a unique gem nestled in the beautiful town of Atina. The hotel itself is a lovely old, wonderfully renovated palace with spectacular views of the mountains and set in a quiet but central location. The owners were exceedingly gracious and gave us wonderful suggestions for day hikes, and restaurants. The dining choices in Atina were outstanding with some of the most creative in authentic cooking, we experienced while in Italy. We're pretty experienced travelers, and this was definitely one of our favorite spots.

United StatesEverything - the location, the views, the terrace, the rooms and especially, the hosts - Gaynor and Ben are exceptionally warm, fun, informative and accommodating. Gaynor runs the Inn and Ben runs the restaurant and is an amazing chef - both are delightful and charming people- be sure to make a dinner reservation - you will be in for a treat. Gaynor is a wealth of information regarding the area and has suggestions for day trips. The Villa is a short walk to the center of a storybook village. Loved it all!

A lovely continental breakfast, made by the owner. This place is like a hidden paradise. The owner, Cinzia could not have been more helpful and engaging. Would return here again and again. Best place we have ever stayed at.

Our host came out to meet us in the carpark with an umbrella, as it was raining. She was lovely, helpful, chatty - a delight. The room was beautifully equipped, complete with seating area. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fantastic and we, as vegetarians, had been superbly catered for. A fabulous place to stay.

The hotel is a beautiful and historic building in the main square of Atina.
Our room was modern with a luxury bathroom.
We had breakfast on the terrace with fantastic views of the Abruzzo national Park.
I would love to stay there again if I return to Atina.

This was our 3rd time staying here . What a beautiful place . Full of charm and in a fabulous spot in our fav little village atina by the fountain

The hotel is very well located right in the centre of the town. With very easy access.
As an interior designer I would be very picky with places I stay. And I can honestly say that this property is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The interior of the building is modern but yet classically Italian.
The terrace has breathtaking views. We stayed in a suite at the front of the hotel and we didn’t hear a sound. The rooms are spacious, cool & calming.
