Accommodations in Hasunuma

Very cute small cosy houses near the big park and the beach.

The breakfast was traditional Japanese and was very nice with wonderful service. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and make our stay pleasant and memorable. They provided us with extra bottled water and a hot water kettle without hesitation. They even offered to drive us around the area to different restaurants, and locations free of charge. It is no stretch to say they went out of their way to accommodate us. Very friendly and welcoming staff who always met us with smiles and great attitudes. If you are planning to go to the water slide park, they will drive you there even though it is only a short distance. The beach entrance at the water park has a relaxing beachfront restaurant with shave ice, beer, and a variety of delicious food options. For transportation they even arranged to drive us all the way to Narita airport for a very small fee, which was absolutely an incredible perk. So much better than having to ride on the train or take a bus. They informed us to let anyone know if they wanted a ride to or from Narita airport the hotel staff can arrange it. Simply contact the hotel. If you stay there or are in the area, go have lunch at “The Barn” for the best wagyu burger and carrot cake in Chiba, and Dougyou Hamagura for amazing Chinese cuisine. Final note: the beach is absolutely stunning with wide expanses of sand, shallow areas to splash around, lots of sand dollars, and beautiful waves. Walk up to where the lifeguards are stationed to enjoy some safe watertime. Be careful elsewhere as there are riptides in the area.

Was near the beach ( for a surfer, always good). Clean room and a nice restaurant next door. Nothing special; there is a shared living room where you can watch TV or eat your instant noodles they sell at the door. You can make instant coffee or tea too. Outside, you get welcomed by a lovely cat.
