Unexpectedly and without us asking the owner was waiting for us at the station and gave us a ride and remembered us from our stay of many years ago. View from the room is a nice Japanese garden and pond filled with koi.

The guesthouse was clean, the facilities(shower kitchen and toilet) were not only clean but everything was big(which helps when you’re over 1.90cm in Japan) The location is incredible, tsuwano is incredible beautiful, and you can use the facilities bicycle to ride around town They also offer fun events, I took up making Genjimaki, a local cake with a rich history with Abe San, who own a local genjimaki stoe, this ended up not only being a night of great cultural exchanges, but genuinely made friends Naoki San, the manager is also an amazing guide and showed me around town

One of the best places I have stayed in during my travels throughout Japan. Exceptionally clean and well organised with an open common area, comfortable beds, and wonderful views of the town, river, and train(if you like trains like I do). Right next to the main street that runs through the town. Walking distance from practically everything you'd want to do. Staff were kind and attentive. A credit to the town.

If you are reading this, you are already making a great decisions in considering visiting Tsuwano. The Hotel was just as great as the town, an oasis to relax in. The meal, beds and bath were 10/10

Loveliest hosts ever, stayed late so they could check us in, gave us complimentary coffees the next morning, recommendations of things to do & places to eat. Rooms were excellent, we had four people, two in dorms two in single rooms, both were great, clean & cozy. Location is unbeatable, on the beach with a gorgeous view. Price was great for all rooms.

The owner/manager was welcoming and charismatic. We appreciated the hotel's welcome and although we did not use it, there was quite a lot of food/snacks available. This is good because there are no convenience stores in walking distance.
