There are very things we need.
Space more enough for all of us 4 peoples
Three sleeping rooms should be enough for 8 peoples but best for 5 or 6 for whole space.
Easy check in and check out.
House admin also is fast response.
One for us was forgot powerbank, house admin arrange for that appropriatly.

JapanWe went to Nikko from Tokyo. Considering the distance, the best way is to go to Utsunomiya, have a night sleep there and then go to Nikko without any rush. So, we looked for a nice "base". This hotel was excellent for this purpose. Located in the center of Utsunomiya it offered great access, very convenient parking arrangement, excellent breakfast in the morning. Also, we could have a very good rest as the room had good beds, great bathroom, all the necessary amenities and what not.

United StatesCommunication with the onwer was great! She responded to my messages within minutes! Great location close to the train station, if you are visiting Utsunomiya without a car and are here for sightseeing, I strongly recommend stay near the train station. Side note, you can buy a one day discounted sightseeing pass at the tourist information counter in train station for ¥2,000, cash only. All the guests were respectful and quiet during my 2 night stay. Someone in the review had mentioned there is a love hotel nearby, I was a bit concerned, but lemme tell you I walked by there at night, if you didn’t know it was a love hotel you would have no way to tell. It’s very quiet and looks just like a normal hotel, I feel very safe here as a solo female traveler. 100% recommend.

Real peak of how a traditional Japanese house is from the inside. I enjoyed my stay very much, shared stories with the owner who friendly joined me at the living room. Walkable distance to everything you want to see in Utsunomiya and then take the train to Nikko, perfect!

The room was larger than normal and spotless. The breakfast was very good. The washing machine/dryers worked well. The staff were very helpful. The bathroom had good water pressure. The hotel was handy to the station. One of the best hotels of this star rating I have stayed in. The extra room made a lot of difference.

Not to say very traditional but it is definitely a rare opportunity to get to stay in a Japanese house and experience how normal Japanese live in their daily lives. The place is really clean and comfy. Most importantly , the owner is very friendly and approachable , being very helpful and kind ! He shares a lot of travel tips and recommended spots that only the local will know.

Beds were comfortable, free earplugs, adjustable light and ventilation in the pods, clean bathroom, complementary coffee and tea, you can also borrow headphones. I appreciated the fact that cotton buds and pads were available in the bathroom. Overall a good stay!

Staff were really friendly and always greets us when we walk in/out. Hotel provided everything we need for the stay. Room is certainly bigger than your usual japan hotels.

Stayed for a couple of nights. The hotel is very close to the station, on top of a small shopping centre with a Daiso and some small eateries and cafes, so it makes for an excellent travel base if you want to explore nearby areas on a day trip like Nikko. The room was comfortably sized for one person. The baths on the 14th floor are also clean and well maintained with toiletries, but remember to bring your towels from your room as they do not provide extra towels. Checkout is painless with a drop box for your room key near the hotel entrance.
