Accommodations in Tsavo

I stayed at half a dozen safari lodges, this was the best all around. Great, professional service. They arranged evening and morning game drives that were excellent and very reasonably priced. The buffet was the most extensive of any lodge I stayed at. Something for everyone.

The location was the best part about staying at this lodge. You are at a central location in the national park to go on the various game drive routes. We also had two fans in our room which was a huge help dealing with the high temperatures at this time of the year. The shower in the bathroom was very nice and the beds were comfortable. We were allowed to access the breakfast buffet earlier than the posted hours to accommodate our early departure from the property.

Excellent location. Lovely staff on the property. I suggest walking safari by the river. Lots of animals to see. Nearby the old station where the lions actually prayed on the people who constructed the bridge. Just a nice place to visit both for a short while or for a longer holiday. Nearby the entrance to Tsavo East and Tsavo West.

A magical old school safari paradise. Extraordinary level of welcome, dreamy accommodation, delicious food, wonderful staff. Private unique game drives in beautiful old open land cruisers, during which you may not see another vehicle. All just perfect.

Staff was very kind and helpful, location pure fantastic on the river bank. The crocodile Henry was guarding us all the time while staying there :))) Food was great.

The food was exceptional across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The property itself is well-landscaped and the watering hole view from the dining area was magnificent. We did most of the activities that you can do on such a trip: game drives, sundowners, massages, swimming, etc. Last but not least, the staff was amazing throughout our stay and ready to help at any given moment. Highly recommend for a serene getaway for a couple.

Magical! Yes didn’t need to go on a game drive to see animals, they all group by group visit the waterhole and we could see them from the comfort of our room or the bar and restaurant. It was wonderful. The property has a big garden and a nice pool as well. Nice and kind staff as all Kenyans. The food was good and we really enjoyed our stay

One of the most amazing accommodations of my life! The concept is just so unique and perfectly realized, we saw countless animals from our room and the terrace and everything ist very comfortable!

My wife and I had a great stay at Taita Hills. The location is amazing, the rooms are comfortable, and the food was very tasty. Special shout out to Kadenge Reuben who led all of our game drives. He was so genuinely kind and made our experience one to remember.

The meal selection options were many, with fresh ingredients and tasty. The rooms were cozy and well maintained. The staff with the exception of one were friendly and very accommodating. The animal observation deck and the views were spectacular and we saw a wide range of wildlife throughout our stay. The game drive offered by the hotel was also quite enjoyable.
