Accommodations in Muang Phônsavan

Very nice accommodation and the owners are so lovely. The fire at night is perfect, where we can share good moments with everybody

The owners and family were very welcoming and attentive to us. They were gracious hosts and offered good insight into future plans within laos. Would stay there again absolutely.

I recommend you to stay here and get to know Kong the very nice owner of the hostel. I loved to stay at the fire ;) the room was clean and nice, the shower (very;)) hot, the location is good and we could even take coffee, tea, banana and water... thank you Kong!

The room was very nice and clean, and the guesthouse was in walking distance of the Main Street. Good breakfast. The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff, they were really friendly and helpful, and made our stay much nicer. We would definitely recommend this place if you come to Phonsavan!

The best part about our stay was meeting Mr. Souk, who is an extremely friendly and warm, knowledgeable local guide. If you're looking to tour the Plain of Jars, stay here and make sure to ask for Mr. Souk. He also has a great level of English, making the communication seamless.

This is the only place you want to stay in PhonSavan. Not only for the fire that’s always burning in the common area BUT the man himself Kong! He’s a wonderful person/host. He’s happy to tell you anything you want to know about the area and if he doesn’t know it he makes it his duty to find out. We went on his tour and HIGHLY recommend it!

Kongkeo Guesthouse is a great place to stay and made even more special by the owner Kong. We really enjoyed a full day tour of three Plain of Jars sites with Kong during our stay, he is very knowledgeable and takes great photos too! Sitting around the communal fire with Kong and fellow guests having a drink in the evening was a great way to end the day.  Highly recommend staying here.

Very nice guesthouse in quiet area, restaurants etc in easy walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff. The highlight sure were the two day tours with Mr. Souk. He is a top tour guide, speaks well english and is very knowledgeable about the area and its history. He is a very nice person to travel with and has a good sense of humor too. I had two great days with him and was very happy to invite him for dinner to express my thanks. Good memories will stay.

The guest house is new, clean, very comfortable bed and a great hot shower, big room, and good location. Only 5 minutes walk to the main street, very easy. Abay and her staff went out of their way to accommodate me, with included transfers, and then picking me up at very short notice when my flight was cancelled. This is my favourite accommodation on my 8 week trip!! Thankyou for a great stay!!
