Accommodations in Batigama

I had the pleasure of staying at Thara in Villa in my recently visit in Sri Lanka. I was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service I received. From the moment I stepped foot into the hotel, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality from the staff. Their attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure my comfort made my stay truly enjoyable. The hotel itself was a haven of nature lushed greenery and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The food experience at the hotel was equally delightful. The diverse menu showcased the rich flavors of Sri Lankan cuisine, as well as international favorites.

Perfect for a couple of days chill after cycling from Jafna to Dondra lighthouse

I was initially hesitant to book this hotel after seeing its only review rated 6/10. However, I quickly realized that rating was far too harsh. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The hotel itself is of a high standard, with fantastic facilities. The pool and sunbeds were excellent, providing a relaxing environment. Breakfast was outstanding, offering a great selection of both Sri Lankan and Western options. We loved our stay.

Great location, great staff excellent food and value !

I loved the beachfront it was perfect location

The property was located directly on the beach and the rooms offered grand views of the ocean. We had two rooms, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. The first-floor room offered a balcony. The hosts (who were actually the owners) were incredible. Very kind, and went out of their way to ensure we were well taken care of. Breakfast was included each morning and was very filling. A selection of traditional Sri Lankan offerings was provided, as well as the option for a Western breakfast. The rooms and common spaces were very clean and well-maintained. The bathrooms were large and provided amenities such as soap, shampoo and lotion. Ample towels were provided throughout our stay, as well. The property is also walking distance to Turtle Beach, as well as several wonderful restaurants. We will 100% return to this property and look forward to the kindness and warm hospitality we received.

We had a lot of space and the room was equipped with all necessary utilities. There was a shared kitchen and a spacious terrace outside the room. The location of the property was really good and most importantly the owner of the guesthouse, Kawi, was a wonderful host. She always made sure we were feeling at home and introduced us to local traditions, which made this stay very special.

Our stay at very calm Villa was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere truly lives up to its really calm, peaceful, and relaxing. The villa was beautifully maintained, spotless, and surrounded by nature, creating the perfect escape from busy life. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a warm smile. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and every detail made us feel at home. The garden area were stunning, perfect for unwinding and enjoying quiet moments of happily. Highly Recommend!! See you next time.
