Very friendly welcome and owner, who arranged for our rental Tuktuk to be picked up from his property, and also booked us an early taxi to the train station.

It's perfect place for couple of nights or more, we stayed only one night since it was our stopover on the way to the south, the beach is just few min walk, there are also restaurants around with delicious local food, the room was newly renovated, with good WiFi and nice breakfast, host was very nice, they helped us with tuk tuk and gave us other information about the city, thank you!

Manoj is the best host, so kind, thoughtful, and caring! His house is in a quiet chill part of Batticaloa, between the ocean and the lake, so beautiful. So lucky to have stayed there.

This place is absolutely ideal for those who want to get away from it all and reset. It’s a spacious 1 storey house with a nicely kept front garden and a brisk walk away from the ocean.

Neem is a relaxing and quiet place. The owner goes out of his way to make the stay enjoyable and nothing is too much trouble. On the day that we left he called his tuktuk guy at 5 in the morning to make sure that he would be coming to pick us up for our early train. Our room was fan cooled but aircon is available for a small surcharge. Also the guest house is a few minutes walk to a stunning beach. (confident swimmers only)
