Our 1-night stay at Sinharaja Eco Lodge (July 3–4) was truly unforgettable. The peaceful natural surroundings, clean and comfortable rooms, and warm hospitality made it a perfect eco-retreat. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience, and the meals were both delicious and authentic. If you're looking to reconnect with nature while enjoying genuine Sri Lankan hospitality, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

It was a really nice experience. The view from the summit was breathtaking! The staff and the owner are very friendly and helpful. They offered a wonderful breakfast.

We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful natural surroundings. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were warm, friendly, and always willing to help. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a quiet getaway.

I recently stayed at Mist of Sinharaja and truly enjoyed the experience. The location is absolutely stunning — surrounded by lush rainforest and the calming sound of waterfalls. It’s the perfect place to relax and connect with nature. The staff were kind, attentive, and always ready to help. The food was delicious, especially the local Sri Lankan dishes prepared fresh for us. My room was clean and comfortable, with a great view of the greenery. Reaching the property takes a bit of effort since it’s deep inside nature, but that’s part of its charm. Overall, it’s a wonderful eco lodge for anyone looking for peace, nature, and genuine hospitality.

Good welcome, Location is very clam and quite, Food they served was delicious, Cleanness is good. Overall good place to stay.

Gorgeous pool, serene forest ambiance, modern and stylish rooms

Everything about their home is perfect! It’s so close to the best entrance of Sinharaja. Beautiful home next to the river with sparkling clean rooms. No AC is not a problem because the temperatures are comfortable and even chilly at night. The best part is the hospitality Gunarathna and his family show, so friendly and accommodating. Always offering tea and inviting me to help cook dinner was an experience I’ll remember. Gunarathna is a guide in a the reserve and his sons offered to take me around the village and waterfall. So great! Lovely experience

This is an exceptional property! THE place to stay especially for birdwatchers with birds easily seen from a three way viewing area above the restaurant as well as outside the rooms and gardens. The manager makes the place, always smiling and attentive to every detail making sure everyone’s stay is the best. You can walk to the world heritage site park and the birding jeep tours pick you up at the gate with your packed breakfast. Meals were excellent and the quality well known to others with people seeking out their restaurant for the great the great food. I highly recommend it. I stayed 6 nights and would recommend 3 or 4 to enjoy the area.

The property is the best option for birders and wildlife enthusiast. Well located on the river bank, few steps from the entry to sinharaja reserve. Close to the bridge with constitute a superb location for birding.

Sunil is such a friendly and caring host! We had a lovely time at his home. The view was amazing and everything was clean too. We also did a tour through the rainforest with him and he showed us so many birds we couldn't find without him :) We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner too and we would definitely come back and also recommend this place to others who are planning on visiting the rainforest.

Amazing spot near the river and walking distance from entrance of Sinharaja Rainforest. Vini and his family are extremely friendly and helpfull. He went out of his way to help us when needed. Vini arranged the most amazing trip to Sinharaja Rainforest. We defintely recommend everyone to stay here! Most amazing part of our stay in Sri Lanka
