This was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places we stopped during this wonderful trip. We love nature, even wild nature, and this place is unique. To reach it, you have to cross a field and a river. You're surrounded by tea plantations, and the sound of the river is always in the background. It's run by young people who put a lot of love into this place. They prepared an excellent dinner for us, spending very little, and were very kind. The rooms are absolutely comfortable, and the location, right next to the river, is magical. An experience not to be missed.

This place doesn’t look much from the outside, I was a little dubious when I first arrived. However the people running the place are really lovely and allowed me early checkin, I only wanted to leave my bag, and gave me a welcome tea. Rooms are basic but extremely clean, comfortable, warm, quiet and have hot water in bathroom. They even left me a breakfast pack to take with me on my 6am train. Easy walk to train station.

Silva extremely kind and polite. The accommodation was close to the train station, within walking distance. The room was spacious and had good bed. Very good breakfast included. The staff also took us from the train station for free since at night it can be dangerous to walk to the hotel.

A very nice place to stay in a quiet place close to the train station. The surroundings are very beautiful, and they are very well connected with Nuwara Eliya. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, everything was very clean and family always did their best. Of course, I will repeat.

Fantastic experience. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. The owner went above and beyond by coming to pick me up from the railway station without even needing to be called – such a thoughtful gesture! The room service was excellent, ensuring my stay was comfortable and pleasant. Highly recommended!

The family that owns this accommodation are so kind and accommodating. They stayed up to get us from our train and we were welcomed with tea and cookies. We had the best meals we have had in Sri Lanka here, both breakfasts and dinner. The rooms are in their house, but you still feel like you have your own space. They directed us to a nearby waterfall and tea plantation and also graciously allowed us to stay a bit to wait for our departure train.

We had an amazing stay at Ansi Villa and couldn't recommend it enough! The family are so lovely, friendly and accommodating. Our room and the villa was extremely clean, the bed was very comfy and we had the BEST food here. They cooked us dinner which was delicious and the breakfast was amazing. The accommodation is very close to Nanu Oya train station (5 min walk) and there is a couple of beautiful waterfalls nearby the villa which the family recommended so we had a lovely walk before catching our train.

We arrived in the evening and used this homestay as a way to catch an early train from Nanu Oya to Ella. It was great for that purpose. The accommodation itself is as described; clean, double bed, private bathroom. Host is accommodating and cooked us dinner and breakfast. Nano Oya is a very quiet place but it is beautiful. Before the train we went on a lovely walk amongst the tea plantations.
