We liked everything: The room was rather small but offered everything we needed, was modern and clean. The bathroom was spacious and well-designed. Lovely outdoor seating with a much-needed fan. Kitchen access with a fridge. Very good Wifi. Close to lots of restaurants and the beach. Although there was a bit of a language barrier, our host was lovely and accommodating, cooked us a nice and very affordable breakfast. We did not see very much of her towards the end of the of our stay, but very understandably so: her daughter was having a baby - congratulations 🎉

The room I stayed in was very comfortable, with AC and everything was very clean. The guesthouse is very close to the beach and has some restaurants nearby. The best thing was the attention of Malika who was very kind, she took care of every detail and was very helpful. They also rented me a motorcycle to visit the city and other beaches. I recommend 100%

We had a great experience staying at Theepan’s Home, which is just a 5-minute walk from the beautiful Nilaveli Beach. The location is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Theepan, the host, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel very welcome. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the rates were very reasonable. I love the location! It's right on the beach! And during the time we were there, the beach to the left and to the right from the hotel was deserted. There are only a few rooms at the hotel and guests would leave somewhere and at times it felt like we had our own private beach just for two of us! Also having breakfast and dining there is so great, because again your doing it right on the beach, so the scenery and the sounds of waves are perfect. I live how they have us so many different traditional Sri-Lankan side dishes to our order. The bungalows are located far from the main road, so you only hear the sound of waves and nothing else. Very nice owners and staff - they helped us with luggage both during check-in and check-out and did it out of genuine hospitality, not like most places in the world where they help you with luggage and stay there wait for tips. Really great place, very romantic, I hope we'll be able to come back to Sri-Lanka again and stay at these Bungalows!

Despite the non stopping rain for days and days, our stay in Amanta Beach was just perfect. Everything is as shown on the photos and written in the description and actually there is much more. Slightly out of the village, just right on the private beach, with a huge garden and a cute swimming pool, you will be offered very tasty breakfasts and dinners.. The rooms and the private gardens have everything you may need. And those stylish decorations! I need to mention also the very lovely staff who make you feel very welcome and still manage to give you the privacy you want in such a place. It is not the cheapest, but absolutely worth the value.

Beautiful room, beautiful pool, beautiful property. Lovely helpful staff attending to everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious (loved their version of sambol with peppers and basil). Dinners were lovely too. We recommend this boutique hotel if you are looking for quiet, serene, chill beauty. Loved the sweetest doggies and cats.
