I had an amazing time staying at the star eyes hostel in weligama. The staff is super friendly and this hostel feels like home. I wanted to stay there for a few days and ended up staying for multiple weeks. I met so many great people, I liked that the location was a bit out of weligama city because it was more quiet. thank you for everything Ishan!!! made my time in Sri Lanka very special. will definitely come back 🫶🏻

A Charming Colonial Stay with Modern Comforts This restored colonial property offers an authentic and charming atmosphere with a perfect blend of history and modern comforts such as multi-plug adapters, both bed and overhead lighting and mosquito nets. The rooms are quiet and feature comfortable beds and newly renovated bathrooms—even better than what’s shown in the current photos on Booking. The WiFi was reliable in my room, allowing me to work and stream video without any issues. The outdoor seating areas are lovely, providing a peaceful space to relax. A highlight of my stay was the incredible Sri Lankan-style omelette—the best I’ve had in over two weeks of traveling here! Beyond the setting, the staff were exceptionally warm, kind, and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I was genuinely sad to leave and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

Kindest hosts we have met so far. We were so surprised to see such big room. After travelling for some time it was so nice to be able to sit in the room (on the balcony). The facilities including our room were spotless clean. Breakfasts were delicious and most importantly local! We were served juice every morning with our meals. Jungle Beach is 7 minute walk from the guesthouse!

Its environment is green and a nice place to stay with a comfortable bed.👌

One of the cleanest kitchen and place compare to similar kinds of villa across Sri Lanka. I didn’t see any unpleasant insects inside. Owner nicely accepted schedule change requested via booking.com, but nicely accepted.

Our stay at the property was just perfect! The room was so comfortable, spacious and new. It’s located by the train tracks and it’s super cool to watch the train passing by. There is a lot of greenery in the surroundings. Breakfast was huge and delicious. But by far, our experience with the owner and his family was priceless. They took great care of us.

Clean, big, own kitchen, big bathroom and quite. WiFi is perfect.
