Accommodations in Plav

We had the best time during our stay at Hotel Divan. The owner was incredibly helpful, friendly and made us feel right at home. The hotel itself is amazing, a historic castle feel but with modern and very comfortable amenities. Highly recommend if you're visiting Plav.

The exceptional hospitality, the food made totally from homegrown products, the lovely atmosphere and great views.

The service, the views, the rooms, the accommodation and the friendliness. We over slept because we had such a good night of sleep and they gave us a later check out.

If you need a place to stay in Babino Polje, this is your best option. All facilities were clean, modern and brand new. In the morning, there was a buffet with a wide variety to choose from (I think this is one of the few facilities on the trail that offers such a lavish breakfast). It was also very quiet at night and the view on the mountains you have from the room/patio is extraordinary. But most of all, I was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality of the staff. They were exceptionally friendly, helping me with my luggage and all other questions I had about the trail or the culture. Esma, Emil and Dzemil went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you, if I ever walk the Peaks of the Balkan again, I will certainly come back.

You can't beat the location. Aside from being in the center of town, the view of the lake from the hotel is spectacular. The bed was huge and comfortable. The entire facility was immaculate. But none of these wonderful things compare to the hospitality of the hosts, a father and son, who care for guests of their hotel like they would guests in their home. And, in the Montenegrin culture, that is saying a lot. Coming from Chicago, my husband and I felt that this hotel could compete with any hotel in the U. S.

Beautiful, clean, spacious, and everyone is so helpful. I had a wonderful time at this restaurant and hotel.

Agron the host was magnificent very passionate about hosting and sharing his knowledge and stories with his guests The dinner and breakfast is held on long tables, sharing the food and connecting with other visitors. Great traditional food, wide variety of beverage and wine. The rooms are cozy and we had great balcony with seats facing the trail and the forest

The family that manages these cabins lives on the property and are very warm and generous people. The cabins are very comfortable and well set up, including fridge, stovetop cook plate, small kitchen sink and basic dishes. We could feel the care that has gone into the property, with potted flowers on each patio and family members always ready to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They offered to drive us into the center of Plav (a 10 minute walk) and pick us up, and brought us fresh fruit smoothies when they learned we had been hiking all day. I can't say enough good things about Camp Laksi. They just opened their guest cabins this year, and I'd love to send everyone to them!

Very buetiful place, green and quiet. Staff very nice and helpful.

The room was definition of "clean". The view to the lake was very nice, the AC worked well. The host was very welcoming, speaking perfect english. The shower was great. There was a free instant coffee&tea (water kettle available), bottle of water, soup and shampoo. Close to the main street. All you need to get a luxury day on you hike.

Stayed here before and after my Peaks of the Balkans. It's really great value for money. The room is really big (fits 4 persons) and a little bit cold, but there's a fireplace! A luxury on POB to have one in your room. The owner made sure it's already burning hot before I arrived. There's a small kitchenette sufficient for the basic cooking. There's a nice supermarket a few minutes walking and also the best cevapi place (Izvor) in town according to locals. The hot water was running with good pressure, towels included, hairdryer available too. I really appreciate being able to use the washing machine after hiking so many days in muddy conditions. Wifi works fine. The lady owner is communicative. She has a boutique store downstairs. She was incredibly kind to store a portion of my things while I was on the trail.

It’s a great value for the price, located in the heart of Plav right next to the peaks of the Balkans trail. Super clean and comfortable beds, just what you need after a few nights of camping. Owner was so friendly welcomed me with a shot and let me leave my backpack after checkout in storage.

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind.

The room was great, very large and spacious, and with a table and chairs and basic kitchen. But really this place is about Erdan. He is unreservedly kind and helpful. I arrived a day early, they were full, but his wife found and took me to alternative accommodation. The next day they picked me up in their car without me asking. It was only about 400 m anyway! They arranged a jeep ride for me to skip the road section of my next stage of the Balkan Trail. He is a genuine kind man and would do anything to help. This place is more than a guest house, it is like staying with a family.

The hosts were very friendly and very anxious to help with anything we needed. We booked at the last minute and they came right over to check us in. The apartment is very clean, spacious and comfortable. It is very new so everything was in great condition. The shower was nice and hit. They had parking for our motorcycles on the side of the building, off the street.
