The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city. It is close to everything. We walked to restaurants, the mall and the malecon. Breakfast was very good as well. I liked the coffee, the fresh fruit and the eggs with beans and toast. Our room was on the lower floor and it was very clean and spacious.

The old colonial charm of this hotel is perfect for a stay in Campeche. It’s close to the main square and the Malecón so you can spend your time exploring the nooks and crannies of the beautiful city.

Everything I had expected and more! Simple, basic comfortable, amazing staff and superb location. I even had a big private terrace to have my coffee and watch passers- by!

What a wonderful city Campeche is and Hotel Lopez is right in the centre but in a quiet street away from the main drag. Couldn't have been more perfect.

I can’t stop thinking about Casa Japa. Even now that I’m home, it’s still on my mind! This place is truly magical. From the stunning old arches and that beautiful black and white tiled floor to the peaceful corners with hammocks and lush plants, every detail is thoughtful and inspiring. My sister and I had the most memorable and relaxing stay. The staff also made our stay feel even more special. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely cared that we had the best experience possible. I loved it so much that I’ve come home inspired to bring a little bit of Casa Japa’s charm into my own house. This place is more than just a place to sleep it’s a place that stays with you long after you leave.
