Accommodations in Kvaløya

Great stay a bit outside of Tromsø! Renate and her husband are great hosts and it was super easy to communicate with them. The house is really good. It appears to have been refurbished (as least parts of it) but it is still a cosy traditional norwegian cottage by the mountains. The view from the house is incredible with the fjords. And if you're looking for a place to spot northern lights, this is the place to be. As it is outside of town (~25min by car), there are not many lights in the surrounding, so we could literally see the northern lights from the windows, from the balcony, and if you want a spot that is 100% dark, its just walking west for five minutes. I strongly recommend this place!

Very peaceful neighborhood. The view from our room was amazing! Perfect place to see the northern lights. The room was very small but enough. The basement where toilets are is cold but you get use to it. The staff were really friendly and gave us all informations we needed! Bus is very close to the ranch. We took two buses until the airport and they are very good connected. We will come back for sure!!!!

The apartment is designed very beautifully. It has everything you need including dishwasher and coffee machine. It is also super clean. We slept very well here (the bed is comfortably on the soft side by design). We could park right in front of the door. Communication with the host was very good.

The peace, the views, the privacy.

Lena's apartment is one of the best accommodation experiences I have ever had. The place is in a cute neighborhood with beautiful houses just outside Tromso. The apartment was sparkling clean and decorated with a lot of care. Lena was very very welcoming, yet discreet. She gave us the best tips for visiting.

The views… absolutely stunning location, beds were comfy, online pictures doesn’t do the house or views justice, need to update your pics! Nice and warm upon arrival, snow cleared for easy driving, 20 mins from the airport

Location. Accommodation is quirky and comfortable

Brilliant location with an amazing view, right from the living room. Close to excellent trails and other points of interest. The place was well equipped, tastefully decorated, and could easily accommodate four people. Marcin and Karolina were friendly, very accommodating, and helpful.

Everything was perfect. Spotlessly clean, welcoming host, fully equipped with anything you need and much more, and some reindeer came to greet us by the window in the morning. The apartment is bigger than what it looks on the pictures, with a separate bedroom, living room/kitchen, laundry room and big bathroom. Esfjordbotn is a dreamy village. Amazing value in May.
