We loved the proximity. Even though we used it only for 1 night, we would recommend for a longer stay especially for base to explode Vestland County. There was a hot tub that unfortunately, due to time constraints, did not use. We loved sitting out and watching the ferries come and go.

The views from our cabin were absolutely stunning looking across the Fjord. The owner even stopped by and introduced himself and chatted with us for a time. Our best memory though will be of seeing the Northern Lights while we were there. Something none of us will ever forget!

Our small cabin was excellent. The kitchen had everything including hot water, dish washing liquid and a tea towel. The beds were very comfortable. The shared facilities opposite the cabins were modern and clean. The kitchen had a seating area. Being able to book online ahead of arrival was excellent.

From the very first moment, we were welcomed by a wonderful lady who showed us around and had a lovely chat with us. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed (and even more!). Thanks to the warm welcome and the cozy atmosphere, we really felt at home here.

We had a lovely stay: it felt like home after 3 days. Complete renovated house with all facilities, lots of space, brilliant terrace and friendly hosts. The restaurant at Lavik fjord hotel from the hosts is also recommended!

We had a lovely room with an incredible view. Owners very friendly. This is a great place to stay if you are flying into Bergen but then headed north right away. You drive for a couple hours and then take a short ferry to Lavik which puts you on the north coast of Sognefjord. The breakfast costs us about $15 each - but was totally worth it! Very large selection and a lovely dining area to see the fjord. We stayed just the one overnight and then continued on to Balestrand.

This was my second stay here and I had the same room on the front of the building with lovely view of the fjord and the ferry terminal. Very good dinner and breakfast, and less than one minute to the ferry terminal the next morning.

I had a great stay, it started before arrival, where I was able to communicate my arrival time, even when my flight was delayed, which meant I was going to arrive close to midnight. The owner waited up for me, asked me for anything that i needed, including looking up my travel for the next day. He was super helpful! The next day I was able to grab a quick breakfast that was ready early for me as I had to leave early, and a to go tea! The view from my room was exceptional - I wish I could have stayed longer, just for the view!
