The owner was a delight! He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The charming hotel is a historic landmark in the area from the 1600’s with beautifully restored common areas like the cozy gathering room with a huge fireplace and leather couches. The dining room was my favorite! The restaurant onsite was delicious and very reasonably priced.

The info about the room was misleading; it said mountainviews, seaview etc and the photos showed a view of the fjord, the quite small room and the waterfront deck but in reality the room had a view of the road, some parking lots, houses and mountains in the background 😖 After some discussions with the staff we were able to cancel the booking as the hotel was otherwise fully booked and we couldn’t get the kind of room we had expected. It was a pity as we had looked forward to our stay and the dinner we had booked too.

The location of the accommodation is great with amazing views of the fjord. The beds were comfortable and there was a farm shop within walking distance selling delicious strawberries, raspberries, cake etc. Check in and out was easy and all online and you can park just outside the accommodation.

Eide gard is a gorgeous place to stay with beautiful views over the fjord and mountains. The room was very comfortable and the facilities were great.

Stayed in 2 apartments with a group of friends from the UK on a motorbike tour. Stunning location… Clean, spacious, well equipped, and comfortable accommodation.. Remote contact, but efficient for access and our requirements.. we would happily return and recommend.. in fact, one of my friends has already booked.

The location of this accommodation is the main attraction as it sits directly on the fjord. The terrace overlooking it was particularly lovely. It was large and clean.

We were just passing through, but this accommodation surprised us with its excellent location right in front of a huge waterfall and in a fairytale setting. The rain did not detract from its charm. The breakfast was very good in a building that is worth visiting, the shower was hot and with good water pressure, the beds were comfortable. We stayed in an annex building with rooms, but we were left with the impression that the cottages were much better.
