Amazing place to stay if you are looking for an authentic experience! The location is great just next to the national park, the offer all kind of tours and accommodation at the best price! They help booking buses and anything you need, the food is amazing! Everything is clean and functional

I liked that it was close to town and yet it felt rural and had beautiful open space with heaps of flowers and gardens

Very nice vibe and great to relax. You can arrange a lot of activities to the national park such as walking and jeep safari and bird watching. The owner Sonya is super helpful and kind. I really enjoyed the 6 nights I stayed here.

Great place close to Bardia. Wonderful staff and guides. They will arrange any kind of activity-jeep trip or walk, full day or half day. They organize it to your wishes, depending on what you hope to see. We even had a feast at a village house, with home made rice wine (fire water). Sitting around a fire, we had a great evening. I give this resort the highest recommendation possible.

We spent 4 days at Wildlife Planet and we definitely hope to be back one day. Lovely to walk around the area, tranquil place if you want to relax with spacious outdoor areas to do so, great food & very close to the National Park Entrance. Baba and all the guides' passion for wildlife and conservation were heartwarming to observe and admire. They definitely try their best to show you the wild, without being invasive to the wildlife and always respectful. Best wildlife experiences ever 😁! Also, appreciated the ecofriendliness not only in name; packed lunch during tours with no plastic and reusable stuff, refillable water available & encouraged. I hope the whole area remains this sustainable for years to come.

If you want to experience a truly rustic stay in a jungle safari like setting this is the place we enjoyed the Jeep safari and espescially the walking safari The owners son Ari had excellent english, he and his brothers and sister were a delight

It was great, my original plan was to stay 3 nights and I like it so much I stayed 7. The owner Krishna and his family, helps me with everything I needed, if it’s information, food, laundry and more. And Krishna was my guide, he knows the park so well we saw tiger almost everyday thanks to him. The room is big and clean. Highly recommended

We stayed at Nanu’s homestay for a week and I can’t imagine a better experience in Bardia! Nanu and the family are incredibly kind people, and we felt deeply cared for the entire stay — would HIGHLY recommend staying with Nanu’s family. Safari experience: We were hoping to see a tiger, and went on two full-day walking safaris, a full day jeep safari, and several sunset/sunrise safaris with Nanu. A lof of patience & luck is needed to spot big animals, but Nanu pulled out all the stops to try to help us find wildlife, and in the end we were treated to rhino, leopard, gharial, and tiger sightings!!! Nanu is very invested in helping guests have the best experience possible — he even organized a sunrise safari on the day of our departure as a last-chance effort to see a tiger, which succeeded! Homestay experience: The family homestay environment is what truly made Bardia so special for us. Kali, Nanu’s wife, is extremely kind and welcoming, and is an excellent chef. She’s also a certified nature guide and does some junior guiding with Nanu, which is incredibly cool in a park with few female guides. Their sons are very involved with guests, and they have a sweet dog as well. The family is happy to help with arrival/departure logistics as well. Rooms: We stayed in the king room and had a big bed with a mosquito net & fan (though we didn’t need either in November), electrical outlets in the room, and a private attached bathroom with hot water. We also had a front porch with wicker chairs to relax in, and there’s a shaded communal eating area for guests & family. Be aware that the rooms are a bit rustic (screens rather than windows, some geckos/insects, etc.) but that’s to be expected for a homestay in Bardia! Value: Unbeatable value, which comes across in every aspect of the experience. We spent ~$200 USD per person for six nights at the homestay, including room, food, and many safaris with Nanu.

My husband and I are our breakfasts every morning and we're outside, weather permitting. The food is made to order and our coffee is brought out as soon as we sit down. We are vegetarians and LOVE Hira's Kitchen! The staff are very accommodating. Also, the guided jungle Safari was amazing!

The resort was great, affordable, clean, extremely kind and friendly staff and good food. What more should i ask? Haha. I'm pretty sure we will be staying there next time we are in bardiya.

Everything was amazing. Hukum and his family were all welcoming. The food was delicious and they was plenty of it! Hukum has lived in the area his whole life so is very knowledgeable about the park. We did a walking safari and stayed in a treehouse, both of which I would highly recommend. No tiger but we saw elephants and rhinos which were amazing!

How to not love this place? Pramesh and Noémie are incredible hosts. You can feel the love they put in their place, it's all beautiful, carefully designed with a lot of attention. The rooms are amazing and very comfortable, the restaurant/bar is cozy, the food delicious and they also have a yoga shala/hangout spot. You can also chill by the outdoor fire pit in the evening and chat with other guests. There are only 3 rooms, so it's very quiet, intimate but social. Pramesh is absolutely passionate about the jungle, the animals, his work (he organises great safaris! Recommended!) and his community. He has a very ethical vision and it's nice chatting with him about how he's seeing the area evolve. All in all, it has been a pretty unique stay, I'd only have wished to stay longer. I'd love to come back to Bardiya one day, mostly to spend time here again :)
