Accommodations in Huanchaco

our room (a double room on the second floor with balcony) and the hotel in general were much nicer than the photos. it's quiet and secluded, with lovely landscaping, and is steps away a nice beach with surfable waves, and just a short walk from the restaurants and bars on the malecon. the billiards and ping pong tables were a plus

Hospitality is good in the mornings and afternoon

This is a little gem in a very busy town. A place that makes you feel welcome and well cared for. I had read some of the negative comments by some guests, and of course, nothing is perfect but I never felt that the faults were so detrimental that deserved a negative evaluation. The staff never showed any signs of carelessness or rudeness in treating us or other guests. Breakfast was also a nice surprise. The menu changed slightly every day and this made up for the small selection of items. I was happy with this. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Not a hint of displeasure or carelessness in caring for the customers. Overall, this is a place that will not disappoint most people. And if you have read any of my previous reviews, you will see that I am fairly critical and demanding of hotels and restaurants. After all, if you choose to go to a place and are willing to pay and make yourself the recipient of services i you expect will be given to you, then demand those and let them know that you are paying for this.

Super clean and close to the ocean.

breakfast was quite satisfactory, the security was very good, the view was great and the room was very nice.

Felt like a true home away from home during my travels there. Great clean facilities and spacious rooms, lots of space for socialising and relaxing, and truly wonderful staff and volunteers. The nicest hostel I've stayed in during my time in Peru.

Cute little hotel right across the street from the beach. The pool was clean and warm enough to swim. The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff was helpful. Nice little spot to stay if you’re in the Trujillo area but would rather be at the beach than the city🏝️

The host, Edgar was exceptionally nice and helpful. The neighborhood was nice and centrally-located. The neighborhood was quiet in spite of its proximity to the beach, as well as, the nightclub and restaurant district. Lots of surf shops and late-night eateries. Very short, inexpensive, and easy bus ride to Trujillo on public transportation.

General: Diego and Laura are great hosts. From the outset they were friendly and good communicators. They also showed flexibility when I asked to extend my stay and for a late check out as my bus didn't depart until the evening. The surfboard and wetsuits for rent are of good quality and there is a wide range of shapes / sizes for both. Amenities: The rooftop terrace is very relaxing and great for seeing the sun set. The breakfast was well presented and tasty. The hot water shower worked well.
