AustraliaCasa Lobos is a hidden gem. Right in front of Lobitos surf break, you are ON the beach. You don't even need to cross the street! 1 minute walk to the best sunset spot - I really couldn't have chosen a better spot!
Luis, who looks after the house is great, he has some adorable puppies and makes it feel like home!
Javier went out of his way when I arrived late in Talara. I was dealing with some dodgy mototaxis, and he offered to find me a taxi. In the end, he came and drove me to Lobitos. He didn't need to do that, but I was so happy he did (as a single, solo woman arriving in a town late at night!)

United StatesI was very impressed by the hotel’s cleanliness, security, and hospitality. The staff was ready to help us with whatever we needed (whether an extra roll of toilet paper or late check out). Everyone was accommodating and the room was extremely comfortable. It was peaceful and safe. Thank you for everything, Oro Negro! Oh, and the breakfast and easy access to the restaurant for lunch and dinner was excellent.

Luis and Javier run an extremely good accommodation! The location is perfect, right on the beach and next to two places where you can rent surfboards or take lessons. The chill area is super nice with hammocks, pool table and fusbol table.
The rooms are super clean and comfortable and come with their own fan and also lockers for safe keeping belongings.
Luis and Javier are always there to help or have a friendly chat and they made my stay in Lobitos a super nice and chill experience!

Wayra is located in the perfect location over looking Punta Lobitos, with several other surf breaks within walking distance. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. Ricardo the host will make sure you have everything you need and is happy to provide any advice needed on the town of Lobitos and it surrounds. I would recommend staying at Wayra to anyone heading to Lobitos! Epic joint.

Buena Vista was a wonderful place to stay. The atmosphere was great, the rooms were extremely comfy and spacious. Sebastian was an amazing host, very accommodating and friendly...he went above and beyond for any question or problem we had. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at Tayta was fantastic! The house was beautiful and modern with everything that you need. Jerry was an incredibly accommodating host and was more than happy to answer all of our questions. The view from the house was outstanding and there was a really nice common area to hang out in during the day. We really enjoyed our time at Tayta and highly recommend staying here!

We loved our stay at El Hueco Villas. Spacious and clean, air condition and hot water. We had a beautiful sea view from our room which was very nice to wake up to. It was a short walk to the beach, close to restaurants and markets. Diego made us feel at home and is a great guy. He was very helpful and gave us recommendations on what to see and do. We booked three days but ended up staying for a whole week.

Tayta Surf House was a great place to stay in Lobitos, very close to the beach and with amazing views over Lobitos. Jerry was an amazing host (he even drove us to the airport because the taxi drivers thought it was to early).
The room and bathroom were very clean, all in all amazing value for money.

The best place I've ever stayed at! Spacious room with sandal wood, great balcony with an ocean view and a hammock, yoga room, yoga mats to borrow, gym, pool, the interiors, amazing breakfast which I still enjoyed even after 5 nights here. But mainly, the friendliest family as the hosts, speaking English fluently, with many puppies and a parrot around. 5 min walk to the surf beach. 2 minute walk to the best restaurant in town and a mini market. Family atmosphere of the hotel. A dream come true, I hope I'll come back soon.

Really good place, probably the best in Lobitos. Very nice, clean rooms, beautiful common area, a gym, yoga place, very good breakfast, strong wi-fi signal. I stayed there for more than a week and could stay longer :) it is close to shops and restaurants, very close to the beach. It was a perfect place for me.
