A waterfront bungalow with a deck? We absolutely loved it. We wanted a waterfront experience without paying the crazy high prices of an overwater bungalow, and this was an awesome option for a good price! I don't really understand the negative reviews of this place. If you read the description and listen to the check-in instructions upon your arrival, everything is made super clear! Yes, it's by the road, as are most of the houses and hotels on this island since the road follows the coastline. Yes, there are some bugs, but that's what's to be expected when you're staying on a tropical island. No, there's no beach (as you can see in the photos), and there really only are a couple of beaches on the entire island, but there's a dock you can swim off of and amazing snorkeling just outside your bedroom door. What more could you ask for? Our bed had a mosquito net and a fan kept us nice and cool in the evenings. The staff was incredibly kind and informed us of the meal times upon our arrival. Most of the island follows those same meal times too. I highly recommend!

I loved the location right at the beautiful clear beach with sharks, stingrays coming sometimes by and lots of fish to snorkel with. Nice people, I slept in the dorm and a fan was good enough. Good breakfast with fruit and baguette with homemade marmalade

Very sweet property with four bungalows right on the lagoon. The continental breakfast was lovely and the proprietors were very kind and helpful.

Julian and Meagan were great hosts! The breakfast was wonderful and the views at their place are beautiful.

We had a lovely stay and Chantal, the host, was very kind and helped with car rental, snorkeling gear, laundry etc. the kitchen is fully equipped so it was a pleasure to cook meals every night. The pool was nice too! Location is quite good, although there is no beach withon walking distance- you will need a car or scooter regardless of what you plan to do (unless you want to stay in).

Gorgeous views of the surrounding area. We had our own bathroom. The place was very clean. Sarah, the host, was super helpful and gave so many good recommendations for things to do. No AC, but this was no issue. Never felt too hot or muggy. 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely beautiful views of the bay and mountains!

This place was awesome! I was a little hesitant to book because of the small number of reviews but, now that we have stayed, I realize it is because it is new. I am so glad that we didn't pass up the opportunity! It is adorable; small but, because of a large front porch, actually feels spacious. Furnishings and decor provide a warm welcoming feel. The view is undersold in the description. It was described as a small view of Cooks Bay but is actually a fabulous view of both mountains and the bay. We really enjoyed the outdoor space! Multiple markets, places to eat, and ATM machine all within a couple of miles. 10 min drive to the beach. The host, Canelle, is amazing; helpful with anything you need. Just one note if you stay and plan to cook, there is an induction cooktop and pots are provided but there is no microwave. Also, a general note about the area, in both Papeete and Moorea, local currency is often required for payment for accommodation and we did not find it easy to get cash from the ATM machines. We finally figured out that, even if your bank doesn't have a maximum withdraw limit for you, the local ATM machines do and will deny your transaction but not tell you why. We were only able to withdraw 200-300 per day so you will probably want to make withdraws everyday until you get everything you need. If we are lucky enough to go back to Moorea, we will definitely plan our trip when Aimeho Bungalow is available!

Beautiful and spacious home in Paradise! The VIEWS!!!! Mt. Rotui from the front porch is so magestic!!! Loved everything about this home! The pool was great to swim in after a day of traveling and again before heading out the next morning. David and his wife were great hosts. So caring and provided fresh fruits to eat, which they picked up as we were headed to their home. We rented their car so they provided pick up and drop off. Great service!!! We will stay here again when we return. Mahalo to David and Delphine :). You both are da best!!!! (For the best private boat tour: One Love Moorea is it!!!!)
