ItalyEverything we found was excellent. Breakfast is varied and plentiful in the British style, and it is better. The managers were friendly and helpful, I would say. It isn't easy to find the same excellent welcome elsewhere. The environment is warm and welcoming, with a garden. However, it is better to say that the building and the furniture are part of the cultural heritage of ancient Europe.

United StatesIt was a beautiful hotel. The room was well done with comfortable beds, linens, lots of wood and tile, and we had a balcony overlooking the pool and farm land. The breakfast was great with made to order eggs and breads and cheese, yogurts, etc. There were also many good restaurants in Portalegre nearby.

We absolutely loved everything about this stop along our adventurous route through Portugal. The history in this home was beyond what was expected and the time with the family members just added to that experience. Breakfast was over the top as there was more than we needed and absolutely delicious. You definitely felt like you were special and your choice to stay in their home was so appreciated. If you have an adventurous spirit, than this place is something you'll want to experience.

I loved it. The owner was lovely and responded quickly, the facilities were kept clean and had almost everything we needed. The barbecue was great fun and could not recommend this place more. Best value for money and a lovely place to stay. Would love to come back here one day just for the apartment ☺️

Reception was great upon arrival. Breakfast was great and so was the service provided by the gentleman that served us on the first 2 mornings of our stay. The breakfast service on the 3rd morning wasnt as efficient but was still good.

The house was very clean and had everything we need for two nights. The pool area is very comfortable and it felt really good to go for a swim in the afternoon. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. And our 2 dogs really enjoyed their stay.

A rather unusual place to stay.
The interior is decorated with various historical elements and is very rich in detail, but it also had all the modern conveniences. The room was particularly large.
Breakfast was very good with the host's comments and friendly conversations.
Parking right outside the building.

The farm is delightful and very well located.
Peaceful experience but not too far from little towns around.
Very convenient to visit Marvão if you have a car.
If you don’t have a car I don’t recommended staying there.
The accomodation is very cosy and each unit has its own fire pit in and outside. Breakfast as well.
