House is new, clean and spacious. It is up a very steep slope so we parked at the bottom after one attempt. Three bedrooms, 2 shower rooms and 2 toilets. One of each upstairs and downstairs. There was never a problem or a queue. Dishwasher and washing machine available. Samantha is super and if dinner is offered and one of you speaks and understands French, it is really worth spending an evening with her and her family chatting while you eat her interesting and different Creole based food. A great way to find out about the way of life on Reunion and their plans. Near to Hellbourg and surrounding areas. Spectacular views.

Great location for hiking several trails in the area and for checking out town without actually being in town. Very comfortable stay, nicely appointed kitchen. Great having a washing machine and a dishwasher! Not many noisy dogs/roosters in the area and those that were tended to be only during daylight hours (if you stay on any of the islands this becomes important!) The house is in good repair and very good sized for two.

Really nice and big house in the middle of the owners banana fields. The view and quietness was amazing. Each room was big on its own and the kitchen had everything to cook and season. The owner even brought us fresh peaches and bananas right from the trees for breakfast.

The house is modern and very clean. The living room is spacious, the outside area is lovely and quiet. The breakfast delivery service was fantastic! We found a bunch of things in the fridge upon arrival (juice, milk, cheese, butter, jam, eggs, etc), and bread and pastries were delivered every morning. We loved this aspect of our stay!

Beautiful location. A warm and welcoming host who was patient with my French and my partner’s lack there of. Small kitchenette was equipped for basic meal prep (breakfasts and microwaveable food) and a nice welcome drink. A great location if you have a car to head out on many hikes in the region. We really felt the rural and quiet setting was one of the highlights of staying in La Réunion! Although there were other tourists staying in the area, it really felt like an unassuming quiet local village and a great experience! It was cold at night and we didn’t find the space heater until the second night but there was a heater and extra blankets. The suggestions for meals were great - Chez Tania’s just up the road was one of our favourite meals on the island!
